Battery Installation Terms & Conditions
BATTERY INSTALLATION TERMS & CONDITIONS
Santa Clarita Wholesale Batteries LLC DBA Dynamic Batteries & Hoses
These Battery Installation Terms & Conditions apply to battery installation and related services performed by Dynamic Batteries & Hoses, whether performed at our business location, at a customer's location, or through another mobile service arrangement.
By authorizing an installation, signing or electronically approving an estimate or work order, paying a deposit where applicable, or otherwise expressly authorizing Dynamic Batteries & Hoses to perform the services described in an estimate or work order, the customer acknowledges and agrees to the applicable terms below.
1. CUSTOMER AUTHORIZATION
The customer authorizes Dynamic Batteries & Hoses to perform only the battery installation, replacement, testing, programming, diagnostic work, and related services specifically identified in the applicable estimate or work order.
Authorization may be provided in writing, electronically, or through another legally permitted method.
Dynamic Batteries & Hoses will not perform additional chargeable repairs, modifications, or services beyond the authorized work without obtaining additional customer authorization where required.
Payment of a deposit reserves products and/or scheduling but does not, by itself, authorize additional repairs beyond the work identified in the applicable estimate or work order.
2. ESTIMATES & ADDITIONAL WORK
Installation pricing is based on the information reasonably available at the time the estimate is prepared and assumes reasonably standard installation conditions.
If additional work becomes necessary after service begins, Dynamic Batteries & Hoses may provide a revised estimate or request additional authorization before proceeding.
Additional work may include, but is not limited to:
-
Corrosion removal;
-
Replacement or repair of damaged terminals;
-
Cable repair or replacement;
-
Repair of damaged battery hold-downs or trays;

Material additional charges will be communicated to the customer for authorization before additional chargeable work is performed where required by applicable law.
3. DEPOSITS
Certain orders, special-order products, and scheduled installations may require a deposit.
A deposit may be required to reserve products, secure special-order or allocated inventory, and/or schedule installation services. The amount of any required deposit will be disclosed on the applicable estimate, invoice, or work order.
Unless different written terms are provided for a specific order, the deposit is fully refundable when the customer cancels the order within twenty-four (24) hours of the initial deposit payment.
After the 24-hour cancellation period, the deposit becomes non-refundable due to inventory allocation, product commitment, scheduling, technician availability, and other costs associated with preparing to fulfill the order.
Special-order, custom-order, non-stock, or specifically sourced products may have separate cancellation or refund restrictions disclosed at the time of purchase.
The remaining balance, including any additional batteries, applicable taxes, labor, mobile service charges, and customer-authorized additional charges, is due as stated on the applicable invoice or work order.
4. SCHEDULING & APPOINTMENTS
Installation appointments are subject to technician availability and are not considered confirmed until scheduled or otherwise accepted by Dynamic Batteries & Hoses.
Appointment times are estimates and may be affected by:
-
Traffic;
-
Weather;
-
Road conditions;
-
Previous service appointments;
-
Product availability;
-
Unexpected installation complications;
-
Emergencies; or
-
Circumstances outside the reasonable control of Dynamic Batteries & Hoses.
Dynamic Batteries & Hoses will make reasonable efforts to communicate material scheduling delays or changes.
5. MOBILE INSTALLATION TERMS
The following provisions apply when service is performed at the customer's location or another location outside Dynamic Batteries & Hoses' facility.
The customer must provide a safe, legal, and reasonably accessible location for the installation.
The customer is responsible for ensuring that:
-
The vehicle or equipment is accessible;
-
Adequate working space is available;
-
The vehicle is legally parked;
-

-
The installation can reasonably be performed without exposing the technician or others to unsafe conditions.
Dynamic Batteries & Hoses may refuse, discontinue, or reschedule mobile service if the technician determines that the working conditions are unsafe or unreasonable.
Examples may include unsafe roadside locations, active traffic exposure, unstable vehicles, hazardous materials, fire damage, severe electrical damage, inaccessible battery compartments, or other conditions that create an unreasonable safety risk.
If a mobile appointment cannot be completed because of incorrect customer information, lack of access, customer unavailability, unsafe conditions, or other circumstances within the customer's reasonable control, additional mobile service, trip, or rescheduling charges may apply.

8. AGED, BRITTLE, CORRODED & DETERIORATED COMPONENTS
The customer acknowledges that older vehicles, RVs, equipment, battery compartments, cables, connectors, hardware, plastic components, and electrical systems may deteriorate over time.
Components may fail, crack, break, strip, crumble, or separate during reasonable access, removal, or installation procedures because of age, corrosion, prior damage, improper installation, heat exposure, chemical exposure, or normal deterioration.
Dynamic Batteries & Hoses is not responsible for the failure of a pre-existing damaged or deteriorated component merely because the failure becomes apparent during reasonable performance of the authorized service.
Nothing in these terms excludes responsibility for damage directly caused by negligent workmanship where liability cannot legally be excluded or limited.
9. BATTERY INSTALLATION IS NOT A COMPLETE VEHICLE OR ELECTRICAL DIAGNOSIS
Battery installation, replacement, or basic battery testing does not constitute a complete diagnosis of the vehicle or equipment's electrical, charging, starting, drivetrain, inverter, converter, generator, solar, or auxiliary systems unless diagnostic services are specifically listed on the estimate or work order.
Installing a new battery does not guarantee that an existing electrical problem has been corrected.
A properly installed battery may discharge, become damaged, fail prematurely, or perform improperly because of conditions unrelated to the battery or installation.
Examples include:

10. CHARGING SYSTEM & BATTERY COMPATIBILITY
Battery performance depends heavily on the condition and configuration of the charging system.
The customer acknowledges that changing battery chemistry, capacity, voltage, configuration, or technology may require compatible charging equipment, system settings, programming, converters, chargers, DC-to-DC chargers, battery-management equipment, or other modifications.
Dynamic Batteries & Hoses is responsible only for compatibility or configuration services expressly included within the authorized work.
Where the customer declines recommended repairs, upgrades, diagnostics, programming, or charging-system corrections, Dynamic Batteries & Hoses is not responsible for subsequent battery performance problems attributable to the declined work or existing system configuration.
11. ELECTRONIC MEMORY, SETTINGS & SYSTEM RESETS
Battery replacement frequently requires temporary interruption of electrical power.

RVs may contain multiple interconnected electrical systems, including chassis batteries, house batteries, converters, inverters, generators, solar charging systems, transfer switches, battery isolators, DC-to-DC chargers, leveling equipment, battery monitors, and aftermarket modifications.
Unless specifically included within the authorized work, battery replacement does not constitute inspection or certification of these systems.
Dynamic Batteries & Hoses is not responsible for unrelated faults, pre-existing wiring conditions, incorrect prior modifications, or deficiencies within these systems that are discovered before, during, or after battery replacement.
14. CUSTOMER-SUPPLIED PRODUCTS
If Dynamic Batteries & Hoses agrees to install a battery, part, or component supplied by the customer, Dynamic Batteries & Hoses does not warrant the customer-supplied product unless expressly agreed in writing.
The customer assumes responsibility for confirming the suitability, application, condition, and warranty coverage of customer-supplied products.
Dynamic Batteries & Hoses may decline to install a customer-supplied component that appears unsafe, defective, damaged, incompatible, or inappropriate for the application.
Labor to diagnose, remove, reinstall, or replace a defective customer-supplied product may be separately chargeable.
15. PRODUCT WARRANTY
Products supplied by Dynamic Batteries & Hoses are subject to the applicable manufacturer's warranty, if any.
Manufacturer warranty coverage is governed by the manufacturer's terms, testing procedures, eligibility requirements, exclusions, and warranty period.
Unless specifically stated otherwise, a manufacturer's product warranty does not automatically include:
